About Dr. Brown
Dr. Derek Brown is a Professor and the Director of the UC San Diego Learning Center and the Associate Director of Education & Outreach in the Center for Quality, Innovation, Value and Efficiency in Radiotherapy (QUIVER).
Dr. Brown is an experienced medical physicist and is a member of the La Jolla Brachytherapy Team. He has a strong interest in Global Health Care and is involved with the organizations Radiating Hope and TreatSafely which are dedicated to improving access to modern radiotherapy throughout the world as well as to developing practical educational materials.
