Dr. Derek Brown

Derek Brown Dr. Brown's research interests involve the design and development of educational programs/tools as well as effectiveness testing. Examples include the development of language-neutral instruction (both on-line and on-site) for centers in the developing world and the creation of on-line case-based medical physics instruction. I have active collaborations with researchers at the University of Washington and MD Anderson Cancer Center in the development and implementation of novel hardware and software tools specifically designed for centers in the developing world.
