About Dr. Einck
Dr. John Einck is a Professor in the Division of Radiation Oncology and is based at the Eisenhower Lucy Curci Cancer Center in Rancho Mirage California, an affiliate of the UC San Diego Cancer Network.
An experienced Radiation Oncologist, he previously worked at the Moores Cancer Center in La Jolla California and was a valuable member of the Breast Cancer and Genitourinary/Prostate Cancer Disease Team. He is an expert in the use of brachytherapy for a wide variety of disease sites including Breast, Gynecologic and Prostate Cancers. He also oversaw the RMAS Radiation Oncology Residency Program.
Dr. Einck has served as the President of Radiating Hope, an international philanthropic program focused on increasing access to modern radiation oncology services throughout the developing world. Deeply committed to global oncology, Dr. Einck helped design and implement a cervical cancer treatment program at Institut Curie in Dakar, Senegal, working through partnerships with Radiating Hope and CureCervicalCancer to expand access to lifesaving radiotherapy in resource-limited settings.
