About Dr. Meng

Dr. Boyu Meng is an Assistant Professor and a member of the Quality, Innovation, Value and Efficiency in Radiotherapy (QUIVER) Research Center.  He is also a member of the La Jolla Medical Physics Team.

His research focuses on developing molecular imaging technologies to quantify how radiation modulates cancer biology and the tumor immune microenvironment. His lab is advancing novel MRI and PET platforms for in vivo monitoring of immune cell dynamics after radiation. These approaches aim to generate noninvasive biomarkers that inform adaptive strategies and enable more precise integration of radiotherapy with immunotherapy, through collaborations spanning imaging science, oncology, and medical physics.
