About Dr. Hoffman

Dr. David Hoffman is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Medical Physics and serves as the Vice President of Physics & Dosimetry for Navista, a Division of Cardinal Health. Cardinal Health oversees the operations of multiple RMAS satellites (South Bay, El Centro and 4S Ranch). In addition. he is the primary clinical medical physicist for the 4S Ranch Center.

In his role as VP of Physics & Dosimetry, Dr. Hoffman oversees a team of 8 medical physicists and 14 dosimetrists. A special focus of his work is on the three centers partnered with UCSD—4S Ranch, South Bay, and Imperial Valley—where he helps ensure the highest standards of care. He is a passionate advocate for professional development, a member of the AAPM's ROILS Working Group, and serves as the Secretary for the Southern California Chapter of the AAPM.
