Dr. Erik Kaestner is a researcher in the Lab of Cognitive Imaging under Dr. Carrie McDonald at UC San Diego Department of Radiation Medicine & Applied Sciences, Division of Applied Sciences. His work sits at the interface of multimodal neuroimaging, neurophysiology, and machine learning methods applied to epilepsy research and neural function mapping. He completed his doctoral research focusing on intracranial electrophysiology studies of language and memory—work that was supported by an NSF Graduate Research Fellowship.
