About Dr. Elster
Dr. Jennifer Elster is an Associate Professor in the Departments of Pediatrics and Radiation Medicine & Applied Sciences. She serves as the Director of the Pediatric Proton Therapy Program at t California Proton Therapy Center, an affiliate of the Moores Cancer Center and the Rady Children’s Hospital. She is also the Clinical Director of the Pediatric Neuro-Oncology Program.
Dr. Elster is a dedicated clinical researcher and educator. She is Principal Investigator for multiple early-phase investigational trials evaluating treatments for pediatric brain tumors—such as gliomas—within the Pediatric NeuroOncology Consortium (PNOC) framework. Her scholarly output includes case reports and clinical evaluations of therapies like everolimus and assessments of novel neuro-oncology interventions.
