About Dr. Sherer

Dr. Sherer is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Radiation Oncology and Chief of the Gastrointestinal (GI) Section. He is also an active member of the GU Disease Team. His clinic is at our La Jolla Treatment Facility within the Moores Cancer Center.

A dedicated Educator, Dr. Sherer oversee Medical Student rotations and participates in the Radiation Oncology Residency Didactic Program. He is very interested in developing novel education/training tools and serves as an Associate Editor of eContour, an open-access web-based interactive education resource for radiation oncology physicians worldwide.
