About Dr. Kim
Dr. Kim is an associate physician in the Division of Radiation Oncology and member of the gastrointestinal cancer disease team. He also serves as the physician co-chair for the Department of Radiation Medicine and Applied Sciences Quality Committee. He sees patients at our La Jolla Treatment Facility within the Moores Cancer Center.
A dedicated clinician-scientist, Dr. Kim’s work focuses on the role of B cells and antibody immune responses in solid tumors. He is completing a research fellowship in bioinformatics and is a Scholar in the Embedded Scientist Training and Research (E-STaR) Program at the UC San Diego Center for Learning Health Systems Science.
He has authored or co-authored more than 20 peer-reviewed publications, which have appeared in leading academic journals, including Clinical Cancer Research, Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, and Nature Structural & Molecular Biology.
