About Dr. Manger
Dr. Ryan Manger is an Associate Professor and Associate Division Director of Standards & Guidelines. He is also the Lead Physicist at our Encinitas Treatment Center and the Technology Service Chief of the GU Tumor Disease Team.
A dedicated and experienced clinical physicist, Dr. Manger oversees treatment planning, SBRT, SRS, and clinical operations at the Encinitas Facility. He is also actively involved in the UC San Diego Medical Physics Residency Program.
Dr. Manger serves on a number of national committees in the American Association of Physicists in Medicine (AAPM), including the Working Group on the Radiation Oncology Incident Learning System (RO-ILS) and Task Group 327 which focuses on crowd-sourced solutions to the problem of wrong shifts.
