About Dr. Dragojevic
Dr. Irena Dragojevic is an Associate Professor and is based at our South Bay Treatment Facility.
She supervises the Medical Physics programs in South Bay, 4S Ranch and Encinitas, as well as the IORT program at Tri-City Medical Center. Her clinical projects include optimizing quality assurance, treatment planning, clinical work flow and efficiency at each center. Her research interests are in the area of electronic brachytherapy as well as automated breast treatment planning. She is the Chair of the RMAS Women’s Academic Committee.
Dr. Dragojevic serves on multiple American Association of Physicists in Medicine (AAPM) committees including the Women’s Professionals Sub-Committee and the Placement Service Sub-Committee which assists medical physicists seeking job opportunities throughout the country.
