About Dr. Bojechko

Dr. Casey Bojechko is an Associate Professor and member of the La Jolla Medical Physics Team. He is the Technology Section Chief of the Hematologic service which involves advancing our total body irradiation techniques. Dr. Bojechko is a lecturer, involved in the UCSD physics and physician residencies. He is a research focused physicist and the Associate Director of Quality Assurance & Outcomes in the Center for Quality, Innovation, Value and Efficiency in Radiotherapy (QUIVER).

Dr. Bojechko's research interests include incorporating electronic portal imaging devices (EPID) for patient quality assurance and applications in adaptive radiation therapy treatments. This approach has the potential to monitor the patient during the course of treatment and allows for rapid adaptive treatments that are safe and of high quality. He serves on multiple Department Committees including the Research Committee and the New Technologies Committee.
