International Radiotherapy Technologies and Oncology Consortium (IRTOC)

The International Radiotherapy Technologies and Oncology Consortium (IRTOC) is an international network of institutions committed to scientific testing of new radiation technologies to improve cancer care. The consortium brings together researchers from around the globe to advance medical science through collaborative clinical trials.
The first study run by IRTOC is the International Evaluation of Radiotherapy Technology Effectiveness in Cervical Cancer (INTERTECC) trial, a Phase II/III trial to test the impact of intensity modulated radiation therapy (IMRT) on the treatment of cervical cancer.
