The UCSD Department of Radiation Oncology is currently developing a Trilogy Stereotactic Radiosurgery Training Program.  This course will be held on-site in the Department of Radiation Oncology in the Rebecca and John Moores Cancer Center in La Jolla, California.

Sponsored in conjunction with Varian Medical Systems, the UCSD Trilogy Training Course is focused on practicing radiation oncologists and physicists who plan to obtain the Trilogy Radiosurgery System or who wish to expand their program. 

Lectures by Faculty Radiation Oncologists, Medical Physicists with experience in a wide variety of stereotactic radiosurgery techniques will provide the attendee with a thorough review of the use of the Trilogy radiosurgery system for tumors of the brain, spine and body. Practical sessions will focus on actual cases. 

An overview of the financial aspects of IGRT (billing, reimbursement, compliance) will also be provided.

Expected Inauguration: Fall 2007
