Jacobs Medical Center

UC San Diego will soon be breaking ground on the new Jacob’s Medical Center adjacent to Thornton Hospital in La Jolla.  A 10 story 500,000 square foot building, Jacob’s Medical Center will have approximately 250 inpatient beds. Named after the founder of Qualcomm, the Jacob’s medical center will be comprised of three hospitals dedicated to Cancer Care, Women and Infants and Advanced Surgery.
